Create a delivery challan
A delivery challan moves goods without billing for them — job work, goods sent on approval, or an internal transfer between locations. It carries quantities and units, not prices, and adds the transport details an invoice never needs: vehicle number, transporter, and the reason the goods are moving.
Because there's no money on it, the tax and totals sections disappear entirely rather than showing as zero — a delivery challan isn't an invoice with the price hidden, it's a different document.
Why doesn't the delivery challan show a total?
Because it isn't an invoice. Goods movements like job work or approval-based transfers happen before or without a sale, so the document deliberately carries no pricing or tax at all.
What transport details can I add?
Vehicle number, transporter name, and the reason for transfer — job work, supply on approval, SKD/CKD, or your own reason.
